I think it would be cool if instead of just the showcase it was like a highschool team or like start in little league and play a season and have to get invited to the showcase and then get drafted. Also has anyone been drafted higher then the 15th round.

Under the newer format of archetypes you won't get drafted before the 15th round. that is the way it is programmed. You are supposed to be a long shot.
