Pondering Minoso at gold 1....?

Took Posey in the first round of packs.....just unlocked my 2nd of these packs and a week ago Minoso would have been my 5th choice. Now I'm pondering him.....am I mad or have others had a good experience from him? Haven't really heard much about him.
Otherwise....leaning Sandberg. Originally thought Larkin but I sucked with him in Showdown....and while I like the look of Reggie I dislike the Yanks and have seen others say they struggle with him.
I know people might say need but at this stage all positional needs for me are pretty similar.

Who cares if you dislike the Yanks, I obviously do. I took Reggie because I need a good team, I may hate the Yanks but to get a better team you may need some of them. Take Reggie, he will be very good.

Yea, I agree. no point cutting off my nose to spite my face. But I had also seen people saying he's the one awesome card that they keep struggling with. So those two things combined pushed me off him. Are they wrong? Is he the go to guy here?

What’s your rating usually?
I mash with him in AS and somewhat struggle with him on 700+. But it isn’t major and he still has quite a few XBH

Saddest part -- this man has a 99 and the PA announcer just announces him as "#9"...I have commentary turned off so not sure if Matty V says his name or not.
