Showdown Rattled & Base commander

TLDR: those 2 perks equal easy moment and showdown wins
Soooo good. I Use to fail a lot. Maybe win 1 in 4 showdowns on average. Since I started only playing at all star or higher off line combined with playing online, I started to win half the time.
Now? I win almost every time. Rattled and Base commander combined is OP. Negates any heroics the cpu usually does. I am beginning to think that’s the whole purpose of these perks.
People complain about crazy things the cpu does in showdowns. The amazing defense they play and etc. I think that is by design. You either go full contact /velocity perks and try to hit everything out of the park and gamble that anything not out will be fielded by cpu and an out.
Or go Rattled and base commander. Get a hit, sub in your speed guy and steal second. Then watch the cpu become the three stooges and let runs come on in.

Even the bronze version of Rattled is awesome, but base commander seems like a waste. You should be able to steal the bag without it.

Seriously, I've tried Rattled several times and never saw the CPU make an error.

Same man. I've been running this for the last 3 stage 2 showdowns, and still never seen an error when equipped. I've seen many more errors without it equipped.

Is their a trick to stealing against cpu? Without base commander I get caught stealing about a 3rd of the time even with 80+/80+ guys. With base commander I rarely ever get caught.
