Inflated Prices

Let me first say. Im new to the game this year and this is Second time I mentioned the market place today. I dont understand why some players prices get so outrageous out of nowhere.
Royce Lewis Ive had at 12,000 and now all of a sudden you have sellers trying to sell him for like 77,000 -
Supply and demand. No way to get that wave of prospects rn, so the supply is lacking

I noticed a couple prospect cards spike, mostly the rare tiers on the prospects that weren't in the 4th inning conquest pack. I had bought Pache for 9k, sold him for 20k so I was happy with that.
If I had to guess, it's because most of the cards are approaching quicksell, so suddenly the prospect collection is cheaper, More people are buying the final few cards they need, and since no new supply of the rare tier cards beside Kelenic and Mize came in, those prospects rose.
Still, wait a few days and Royce will come down, no way he stays that high, it's just a temporary shortage, as people see how expensive he is, they will rush to sell, therefore dragging the price back down.

So do u think someone else will go up? I bought Kelenic at 6200...a week or so ago. Not selling him either regardless. As a mets fan I hate they traded him

I have thought about getting him but I have Trammell so he doesn’t fit and soon I’ll have Rickey or maybe Ellsbury.
