Could the last 4th inning boss maybe be Nelson Cruz? He has 6 all star appearances and had some good seasons with the mariners. I'm probably missing something though. I hope it is King Felix anyways
-
SDS said that two of the bosses will have less than 30 steals combined. Cruz has 76 in his career

Nice catch, I knew I was missing something

That and there is no way Cruz would get anything other than a Rangers card rated that high. Maybe 86 Veteran card for the Mariners or Twins but if he was a 96-97, he is a Ranger

Not sure if you’ve seen the numbers he put up in Seattle but they’re better than any in Texas ️

His best years were definitely in Seattle and Baltimore. And also last year in Minnesota believe it or not.
He wasn't the 40 homer monster in Texas. More of a 25-30 guy then. Bloomed late that's for sure

But he was a much better contact hitter, faster, struck out less, and was a better fielder(besides the obvious incident vs St. Louis) in Texas. Thus the higher rated card/SS from last year as a ranger. His power numbers were better elsewhere, but that is because he switched to DH after texas. Better numbers doesn’t always mean a better card. Any Prime/sig card would be as a Ranger

He actually hit for way better average in Seattle too. Yeah he played DH but his hitting was much better in SEA. Sorry dawg
Also not sure what you mean by “better numbers doesn’t mean a better card” ...huh what?

Signature Series are pretty much based off of what team a player played the most years for-Texas. Prime- Texas was still his prime. They aren’t going to give a seattle prime card even though the numbers were better. 35 years old isn’t a prime of a career. He could get a silver slugger card for Seattle. Those are the only 3 series of cards generally(and FS I suppose) that are going to be 95+overall. Sure I was wrong about his numbers, but there is a 98% chance if Cruz gets a better card it will be in a Rangers uniform

I'm convinced it is Felix.

Me too. Would be stupid if it wasn't.
Been wrong before. Their hints have always misled.
Just last week, headliner packs hint was ???? ??????????? (Paul Goldschmidt) but was cole Hamels. Last time I care about their hints...

Mainly because he couldn't stay healthy/play a full season. He was usually around 100-120 games in Texas hitting those 25-30 bombs

Cruz would be a Ranger before anything.
