Any Diamond 85+ XPs out there?

Just looking through the XP reward path. I see at Diamond 85 you get a non-sellable diamond live series player. If I complete collections before I reach that level (I'm still very, very far away from accomplishing either feat), what do I do with that card? Should I wait to lock in some of the more expensive players until I get there just in case?

only thing you can do with that card is use it in exchanges

I’m waiting to lock in those level diamonds for the collections. I’m about 40 levels away so I can wait it out and save on stubs. I’ll be taking the most expensive/highest ovr in that pack

Do you think it's worth it for me to hold off? I'm Gold 80ish with the NL complete and no AL teams done. I assume I'm closer to Mantle than that pack, but I'd kick myself repeatedly in the shins if I pulled Trout. But I'd also kick myself repeatedly in the shins for waiting if my choices were like Walker Buhler, Jose Ramirez, etc.

I pulled trout a few days ago and then mad max the day after. I’m still gonna hold out on collections though for some teams even though I have 40 players for some teams. If you’re still in gold lvl but can do more collections I would say keep going to get those rewards and just get lucky with trout

That pack is only 85-89 overalls.
It’s not worth waiting imo. Highest I had was Sale in my mine.

Unless I accidentally locked him in before checking you can't use those cards in team affinity exchanges either

I finished the nl prior to this and bought all the high al diamonds. When I got this pack Rendon was the only al diamond option.

Don't wait on this pack it won't be worth it. I also got Sale in mine. Now in the 90+ overall in the prestige tier I got Trout and that one is sellable.

Pretty sure you can exchange duplicates. I haven’t yet but I see the option there for it

You can exchange duplicates but unsellable cards usually can't be exchanged.

That’s only true if you make the card unsellable by locking it in. Cards that already come as unsellable (4 card live series packs, this 85 diamond lvl pack) are exchangeable even thou you can’t sell them

I took Yelich at Diamond 85 last night. Had already completed NL and had collected him previously. Thought I would be able to exchange him but he does not show as exchange option in NL central Stage 2 TA exchanges. I think it's a dead card for me. I had not locked in Altuve and should have taken him although he was significantly less valuable.

I thought I was moving along well but only high gold XP. How did some of you get so deep into diamond or many on Prestige Path now?

I’m prestige level 2 right now, the grind here is real... it’s going to take me about 2 months to get to level 100 prestige

No secrets here. Just grinding. 5 MTOs, a lot of showdowns, every moment. I've completed every player program. About 20 teams through stage 2 in TA, I need Trout, Cole and Verlander to complete Live Series and I play conquest every night for daily missions. I'd say I play about 6 hours a day.

I want to say there were 4. Couldn't even tell you who the other 3 were I took Trout so fast.
