I largely stopped playing because this game isn't fun. With the end of the program approaching, I've been trying to make a push to collect stars before the end of the program. In the last 24 hours, the following plays happened:

This doesn't include the screen shot of TYLER F'ING O'NEIL hitting a bomb over the bullpen on a CONTACT SWING with the ball NOT IN THE PCI. Same with POTM Didi, but at least he has pop. But this isn't even uncommon.
This all happened in 24 hours. I came to the conclusion... is the game is this [censored] up, why am I bothering to grind out program stars? This is beyond bad...

You can't have any concept of game consistency...because it's void and completely absent in MLB the Show. You can't have much of a competitive spirit yourself because the game does little to reward good play or punish bad. The AI just do what the AI do.
So, find another game...it might be a life-changing event for you.

Didn’t sound mean. This is the only game that I play online. So, my question is do other online games not have issues where weird stuff happens? If i were to play madden or nba or cod or fortnite is the gaming experience the same in every game in terms of how the game plays? If so, then, yes, these things are inexcusable. I just assume that these kinds of things are he case in online games.

After watching a couple of these videos, it's plain to see the developers need to get their heads out of their cavities and get to work on an overhaul. These nonsense patches that seemingly do little to address the customer's biggest concerns are a waste of bandwidth to download. And, perhaps, SDS is content with mediocrity. I dunno.

These things DO happen in online games. I think that the real issue is that these issues, just bad baseball IQ, janky mechanics, rewarding poor input, syncing issues, etc, they happen every game, and they tend to impact the outcome of the game significantly.

I said it once and I will say it again....you cant have a baseball game made by people who never played any high level baseball.
This game is a disgrace to baseball.

I've played Madden and Fifa prolifically online. Hundreds and, probably, more like thousands of hours. Finally just quit buying Madden about 3 years ago because of the absence of realism. Fifa, which I just keep holding out hope for, is no better. It just has a much more refined trading/auction system (IMO)
So, in the world of online Sports simulation (or lack of simulation I should say) it's pretty thin. Games that don't really offer an outlet to build measurable skills because the AI changes the animation constantly. The AI doesn't reward good play to the same degree it doesn't penalize bad play. By that, it nullifies anything resembling a competitive experience.
So, unfortunately, it's going to be the FPS and RPG that actually provide an experience that is repeatable and consistent. Can truly separate the good players from the bad. Or, I suppose, the players that can learn from experience and repeat good habits.

This comment makes no sense...How does the game not punish bad play? If you swing at everything you will strike out more than you hit. If you throw down the middle you will give up bombs.

I make numerous comments here, none of them are whiney and cruing posts. Trolls only post negative comments with nothing productive...like yourself and the person I replied too. Its irony how you think I add nothing when literally you add nothing. You have very few posts and everyone of them is negative and add nothing to the community thus why no one cares what you think.
Here is my addition...nothing you posted matters, you will find anything to cry about. The game hass issues but overall is fun and good. If you hate the game so much stop playing.

Just curious, when’s the last time you added something of value to the community? The guy posted videos of clear problems that can hopefully be improved. Going after his title of the post is petty and shows your just out to instigate an argument.

Has anyone experienced the glitch where you have runners on base and hit a ball in the gap and before they can advance, they run back towards the base they were just at? Or just me?
I think they do that because the runners are coded to be conservative and are trying to avoid getting doubled off because of a line drive out..it is annoying though
That’s not the correct fundamental when it comes to line drives in the gap. But developers aren’t ready for that conversation.
