Divisional Showdown

Literally this thing is such a joke, I’m not saying to give me wins or demanding to get my fan points, but let’s all be realistic, it’s broken and is just not user friendly at all. The CPU fielding and pitch control is just disgusting, doesn’t matter how hard you hit it, odds are your taking a walk back to the dugout (or in our case, back to the fridge for a beer or drink to get through this nightmare)

Obviously the Divisional Showdowns are brutal usually and cheat for their benefit
AL Central and NL Central are good but others are very hard because of the second mini boss
You just can't make the second boss on All Star and reduce the number of outs.
You either put outs at 15 and All Star or 10 outs and Veteran
Getting 4 runs of Sale,Bumgarner or Max is very hard

Yeah they feel WAY different than any other gameplay. Currently its my #1 gripe about the game. I can do well on Legend in any other mode but Vetern and All Star in this mode are as hard as they are? come on now....I'd love to get into team affinity packs, face of the franchise, future stars but right now, this mode is BS IMO

Yea I stopped doing stage 1 showdowns. Stage 2 is much easier. In order to get 70 points for stage 2 here is my strategy.
10 points collection
5 points — offline pitching/hitting mission
3 points — moment
12 points — online/offline innings (usually this is done organically, however, esp with this new event you can get 7 points in 5-6 games. You can also do conquest and bunt thru a game in 10 minutes.I might be forgetting something, but I do exchanges after that. 4-6k 4 times. 16-20k. You get stubs and packs moving thru affinity so u can usually get close to breaking even overall before u hit stage 2

What’s everyone finding as the best route to exchanges? I’d like the cheapest or quickest, but what’s the best route considering time/money?

Currently facing mini boss Kirby Yates in the NL West showdown. Here were my first three results, which made me think about this thread.
1st batter: perfect/perfect, result: line out
2nd batter: good/squared up, result: line out
3rd batter: good/squared up, result: line outSeriously?

4th batter: walk
5th batter: good/good, result: GIDP
6th batter: good/squared up, result: flyout -
