Started off 22-5 in Ranked Seasons (1st season)

I started 14-0 Been straight 500 player since thought i gotten better for a short moment lol

Game is a circus especially on AS. Started off 15-1 pre 1.04, made WS and now this season I’m 15-12 and started out like 4-8.
The game is so wildly Inconsistent/unpredictable especially on AS difficulty. One game I’ll beat a prestige 12-0 Banner and tear the cover off the ball, the next game I’ll lose to someone with a mediocre record and can’t swing out of a paper bag.. I always joke with my wife that I must have just forgotten how to Hit pitch and field because to me it all feels wonky

Not to mention any jag off can throw a good game with Kluber and Hal. Especially if pitch speeds are weird that game.

Early on you were playing lesser skilled players most likely with lower overall teams and the better player won, you. You’ve worked your way up the ranked tiers and now you’ve come to a place where people are on a similar skill level to you, hence why you’re .500 now. Seems to me like the ranked system is working exactly as designed.

This is the right take. This is the reason people have ratings. Only proving they work by saying I started out 22-5 and am now .500. 22-5 took you out of range where you were better than people.

If you’re even slightly above average you’ll have a field day with your first 10-15 opponents cause a lot of the time they’re people who are hard stuck 500 rating and below.

Sheeeeesh, I wasn't questioning the Ranked Seasons method, which IMO is better than all the other major sports titles
