Hall of Fame pitch speeds throughout every mode, w/ bigger PCI on lower difficulties. (Legend difficulty good see a bump in pitch speed.) There is absolutely no reason for offline pitch speeds to be different than online, or Ranked Season's pitch speeds vary from 600 to 700.
-
Fix the lag in Major league stadiums. I think the game was designed for MLB stadiums and the minor stadium's dimensions/algorithm are causing >92 MPH exit velos with good/okay contact to be HRs.
-
BUMP the pitch accuracy slider.
Edited:
4) Why do I have to steal with a guy on first just to do a sac bunt? The speed window for running is off. -
-
I agree with every point but one. The PCI does not need to be bigger, period. It was fine before they made the most recent change increasing PCI size
-
If you do number 1, you alienate a big portion of the players that simply can't hit fastballs at that speed. Not going to happen ever unless SDS wants to go out of business.
Game needs ping indicators and ping based match making for a level playing field.
-
Some people that don't play the game that often will struggle on fast pitch speeds.

IDK about that though. Think about a dramatically increased pci in which you barely have to move PCI on lower levels to hit a ball in strike zone and then as it gets smaller you have to adjust more. But, that is the only adjustment you have to make at once. So, “less skilled players” aren’t having to adjust multiple variables depending on the difficulty level....
-
You can tell something is whack with the speeds when you have to sweat bullets to score on a tag with a 95 speed guy on a ball hit to the warning track.
-
I don’t care which pitch speeds they use but I’ve always thought exactly what you just said and that pitch speeds should be the same on every difficulty and pci sizes should be different sizes on each difficulty.
I think of it like if you’re playing in single A a 100 mph fastball comes it at the exact same speed as a 100 mph fastball in the MLB, it’s just harder to hit In the MLB because maybe they have a little bit better movement and are able to spot it a lot better. But 100 mph is still 100 mph

You mean like... in mlb 16? I just loaded it up today, and the pci on rookie covers the entire strike zone.

Had a 95 speed guy that slid to just beat the tag on a warning track fly ball. Pushed the button and he sat there for a few seconds. Base stealers are the same thing. My 95+ guys don't move on bad connection games until the pitcher releases the ball. Maybe some day I will list all the issues when you play someone with not so great internet. It is a lot in all facets of the game.

I see you posting a lot about ping on these forums. I just recently upgraded my Comcast internet from 250 mbps to 600 mbps. I hardwire my PS4 and I do not get anywhere near 600 Mbps. Other electronics in my house get higher mbps on the Ookla speed test through Wi-Fi and I was told that PS4 just can't carry the load of 600. What is considered a good ping for video games? Is there a better way to check your ping and speed on your PS4? I go through the browser and go to speedtest.net . I also go to settings and test internet connection under Network on the PS4 console and that seems to be slower than speedtest.net . I get a ping anywhere from 10 to 30 ms and a download speed anywhere from 100 to 300 mbps and upload soeed between 6 and 30mbps n the ps4. I don't notice lag in any other game except for the show. Is it my internet or is it their servers? Last question, do you get slower connection speeds at different times of the day? It seems like I get faster speeds at 2 in the afternoon then I do at 10 at night which would make sense if we are talking about the amount of players on the server at one given time. Sorry for the long post but you seem to know what you are talkin about.
edit: just got home and went through the PS4 settings, network, test internet connection. I got 316 mbps download and 9 upload.

Then the inexperienced players will never learn to move the PCI and struggle as they increase difficulties.

Have you guys ever noticed that 2k (pro am and rec) is built more for the "better" online players than it is for the "casual" guys. Skill gap should be a real thing in the show. It dosent hurt their sales. People will buy the game regardless.

Most of what I put on here is pure speculation because I do not know the details of what SDS does. I do know that ping based match making would make a smoother experience for everyone instead of the people lucky enough to be in that sweet spot whatever that is. The speculation is from a lot of research and what happens in other games. Games like PUBG, I typically have sub 30 ping to their servers in both Ohio and Texas which is excellent. I also know that even on that game my squad mate with 90 ping had better results than I do. Yes, he was better but he could sponge bullets and put people down instantly. Me, I died when someone looked at me. I could be completely wrong on The Show and my ping could be 100 and opponents are 30 but very doubtful based on my ping and indicators in other games. I suspect it is better to have 150 ping instead of 30 or 250.
Pretty sure the PS throttles upload and download speed. I have gig internet and usually don't get much on the PS. More than likely your slower speed at night is probably due to traffic on the internet.
