So just a heads up, this is a waste of time. Everyone you play is going to be prestige with mantle and every other highest cost player in the game. When it’s only 3 innings, these losers will win every time. I have a modest high silver ranking with a pretty good, all earned not bought, team and it’s just a joke that 2-2 playing against the same exact unevenly ranked squads. If you didn’t spend $1000USC on this game, don’t waste your time on this event.
-
what a whiney child
i also have a silver / gold squad - whenever you see the full squads just quit who cares give someone the W and move onto the next game
-
I don’t have mantle. I have good cards and I’ve won 17 games. Just remember the pitchers suck in this event and just out hit them. 75 percent of my wins are against guys with mantle and the other good players. I’m no money spent
-
mantle is the only good switch hitting card that is hard to get. all the others are free cards in inning bosses
-
I’ve won 11 event games so far.
3 of those games were against somebody with Mantle.
2 of those games were against somebody with Mantle AND Franco.
Won both of those last two games and I’m not even that good.
Quit crying.
My lineup is all diamond, but basically all of them are free or were pulled in packs. It’s not hard to have a competitive team in this event.
-
If you can hold them in the 1st and put up multiple runs in your half, I’d say about 75% of the time they’ll quit. Out of my 60 wins, I’d say 40 happened that way at least.

I got all collections done didn't spend anything other than 20$ that my wife bought me during stub sale because she was sick of watching me flip cards for a month straight ...I did get blurry vision in my left eye from that, I suggest taking breaks which I didn't do...vision is fine again got me collections done an yes I was also playing the game...got 3 inning bosses all moments done an all conquest have been conquered...now it's just play online til something new drops...it is possible to have God squads and not spend a dime...it just takes alot of time and dedication....being on lockdown also helped alot of people play this game way more than we would have in 2 months
-
I think we’re far enough into the game where having Mantle doesn’t necessarily mean you bought him. Plenty of players have gotten him without spending yet. I’m only Ramirez and Chapman away from Mantle and I have yet to spend a dime.
-
OP does have a point though. The vast majority of players in this event seem to have both solid all diamond teams, and a very high online winning percentage.
I’m also running into a surprising amount of bunt and speed cheesing.

The bunt cheesing is definitely real and annoying. But the reason you’re seeing these players still playing the event is because they’re trying to prestige Mantle, Chipper etc. The event makes that much easier as it’s on all star and everything goes 450 feet

Fair enough.

-
Dont have Mantle and still playing with scums like Posada, Waters, Hernandez and be in the double digits wins. Even beat a couple prestige and Diamond players...

He gets a win, they get a win, everybody gets a win lmfaooooo... thanks for the chuckle

I have mantle and am NMS. I also play the event with all bronze hitter plus mantle, and win a lot more than I lose.
-
All good posts. Except for the one about quitting and giving guys w’s. Lol. I won’t do that. But good points otherwise!
-
I have all 3 bosses that I earned on my own NMS along with the other free cards I have collected. This event is alot of fun because of thin pitching core which makes every game a [censored] shoot. I hope Switch Up to stays on All Star because it's a going show and that is what events should and always be
-
Renting players for events is the best way to go about getting a more competitive lineup
-
I’ve got mantle and Franco and I’ve spent $40 on this game when it first dropped. It’s not hard to complete everything. Just play and don’t cry.
