OP does have a point though. The vast majority of players in this event seem to have both solid all diamond teams, and a very high online winning percentage.
I’m also running into a surprising amount of bunt and speed cheesing.

The bunt cheesing is definitely real and annoying. But the reason you’re seeing these players still playing the event is because they’re trying to prestige Mantle, Chipper etc. The event makes that much easier as it’s on all star and everything goes 450 feet

Fair enough.

Dont have Mantle and still playing with scums like Posada, Waters, Hernandez and be in the double digits wins. Even beat a couple prestige and Diamond players...

I have mantle and am NMS. I also play the event with all bronze hitter plus mantle, and win a lot more than I lose.
-
All good posts. Except for the one about quitting and giving guys w’s. Lol. I won’t do that. But good points otherwise!
-
I have all 3 bosses that I earned on my own NMS along with the other free cards I have collected. This event is alot of fun because of thin pitching core which makes every game a [censored] shoot. I hope Switch Up to stays on All Star because it's a going show and that is what events should and always be

Renting players for events is the best way to go about getting a more competitive lineup
-
I’ve got mantle and Franco and I’ve spent $40 on this game when it first dropped. It’s not hard to complete everything. Just play and don’t cry.

This post is deleted!

I played 5 games of the event and got match up with try hards that are at prestige or diamond. I dont understand the logic with matchmaking.

I've Never seen it be so cool to be broke. People go out of their way to to tell others they don't spend money.

"These losers will win every time" 🤯

It’s some kind of video game merit system, like digital cred. I could care less either way how anyone builds their team. I just want to build mine and compete against others bringing their best. It’s really just a jealousy thing because they are likely not in the position to spend money and wish they could as opposed to grinding countless hours to get a similar squad. To me the grinding is fun and does not make me bitter, if it’s not fun, I don’t do it. It’s a game not a second job.
Also if you have a decent career it’s a lot more economic to spend some money rather than spend hours grinding for a lot of folks. To each their own, the humble man and the wise man know not to judge. Those who judge others are just afraid to look at themselves critically because they know there’s a lot to address. Sorry to get deep (((ohm)))

Nah. Not really that at all. It’s like using a beat up, old, dead bat when the other team is using a brand new one. I’m not going to spend money on a toy. But if those that want to do, don’t think for one minute that they’re actually better at the game than you. They just have to give themselves an advantage. Like if steroids were legal, I still wouldn’t take them. I’d rather just be better. But that doesn’t mean I’m not going to talk [censored] about those who do.

Dude the game is about building the best team
possible, cards you do the best with. Maybe we should just all play socialist ball where everyone had a team cap. I’m sure you would still complain. This line of thinking your taking is nothing but a complete waste of time for you. Keep letting people live in your head rent free, it’s probably why you can’t beat said people. Maybe they want to spend money to get the cards they want to play with, win or loss because it’s FUN. Maybe it’s not about being better than you, ever think everything isn’t about you? Maybe they didn’t even spend money as other people in here have done. Lay off the salt, your sounding like that guy no one wants to be aroundAlso your analogy makes my point above your post perfectly. Your just jealous and can’t process your emotion in a healthy manner. You can’t afford a new bat, so your salty at those who can. And you don’t think it’s fair that they don’t just hand out new bats to all the kids who can’t afford one. It’s not your opponents fault you can’t beat them, new bat or not. Grow up and let the adults talk here

So what are we playing for? Competition right? To see if we’re better than someone else. Otherwise, there’d be no online play. Everyone would just play against the CPU. So in competitions, actual live tournaments, do you use your DD squads or are there fixed Mlb teams you have to use? That’s my point you obnoxious, misinformed, infant.
