Why can’t there just be one difficulty

Why can’t everything be legend lol. All star is 100 times worse then legend and I hate playing on it, Like Everything that happens in All star is a fluke

Because no one would agree on what difficulty to make it.
You can't just put the casuals and/or people who play on t.v.s on HOF, and you can't just put the best players on all-star. There has to be different difficulties.

A possible solution could be different seasons too. Like for each “season” there is 3 different fields of play. They all work the same as the season does now, but the rewards are different depending on the difficulty you chose to play on. The reward structure is the same, but the overalls are dependent on what level ur playing on.
Just thinking out loud here idk if that makes sense

Yeh legend for everyone LOL.... I def agree it should be a structure u choose the level u are on and that determines the awards you get

I should say that I would be fine with there being a H2H mode on all star difficulty, just not ranked seasons or BR. Events are fine, and I think there should be a mode to grind online stats that is separate from RS

When did I say I want to get rid of 9 inning games? I just think ranked games should be on HOF or Legend. I'm in favor of there being a similar online mode where people can play AS online, but it shouldn't be a ranked mode

As much as I hate the game, madden does ok with one difficulty level. The only thing that really changes are the quality of opponent, for the most part, as you progress higher but the game mode itself is the same across the board. The game doesnt shift from Arcade, to all-pro, to all-madden difficulty.

You're right and I dont know what the solution is but it is pretty frustrating adjusting to the different speeds, timing windows, AND PCI. Not to mention how even a little bit of lag can completely distort things even further.

Agreed, and like you, I don't have a solution. It sucks, but I bet we never see a uniform difficulty because there is just too many sides that want/need different things.

Oh I agree. I am getting better but doing so on All Star I am like a 400-500 player in Ranked Seasons.

Why would they have the same mode twice? Wouldn't it be easier to just add a setting to rs to specify that you only want to play on HoF or Legend? Or all star for that matter?

Agreed, and like you, I don't have a solution. It sucks, but I bet we never see a uniform difficulty because there is just too many sides that want/need different things.
I think people would be less frustrated if the game was as smooth online as it was offline. The only way you will never get that, tho, is to get rid of PVP connections or some sort of ping base match making.
