There’s a big difference in pitch speeds whether you’re home/away or in a major league park rather than a minor league park.

Timing windows are off if you’re the away team, it will feel like you’ve got to swing earlier than you would at the same pitch as the home team. Same thing applies to if you’re playing in a major league park like Minute Maid. The degree can vary based off your connection, but it’s usually not too bad when you play an away game at a minor league park.

Thanks for the info. I played a game earlier tonight and Walter Johnson seemed unhittable. It was played at Oracle Park. I won the game 2-0 on a late homerun. Didn't even feel like a good swing but it ended up being perfect/perfect. What you said makes sense and explains the feeling from that game.

I'm not too experienced online, but I'd like to know the difference to get mentally prepared for losing in all of those circumstances lol.

That's because br and rs use different difficulty settings.

That’s because pitch speed hasn’t changed. The timing window for a good swing is slightly wider and the PCI is bigger. Pitch speed remains unaltered.

Am i the only one who still feels these pitches are coming in real fast particularly in RS ? I played in BR and it was all good the I play RS and the fastball were coming in hot. Not complaining just wondering if its just me

All we need is for SDS to lower pitch speeds, and have a huge PCI. This game will be even worse than it is now.

That’s because it’s not. You can be home team and have terrible lag too depending on your opponents internet.

It’s weird...Some games I can hit the outlier guys on HOF no problem. Then other games I can’t catch up at all. I don’t know why.

Doesn’t mean it’s not a thing. You pretty much lag by default just by being the away team. I’ve never dealt with that as a home team.

It’s 100% based on the ping rate between you and your opponent. That’s it

For all we know it’s another fun feature they added to the game this year like forced hangers and outfielders running the wrong way
