Pitcher only Showdown rounds

Listen, I understand that there's always a silver round for pitchers. But can I STOP getting these kinds of rounds?

Yes, this is super frustrating and should be fixed! No diamond round should ever have even a single pitcher be an option because they are never taken, golds too.

Even worse is when you get pitcher options after the mission right before the final boss. So dumb.

I just got done with the worse draft ever. 1st and 3rd round ALL pitchers. 3rd round all starters after I picked a starter in the first round lmao

That said, I did pick FOTF Ohtani in the final diamond round of the AL West showdown since him being a lefty bat was better than the bench options I had lol

Pitchers are more useless in showdown than they ever were in BR. Pitching is so easy on anything below HoF that you really aren’t punished for using low level guys. And obviously they aren’t used in the actual showdowns. The whole draft aspect the mode is robbed of any entertainment value since there’s no reason to pick anything other than the best hitter every round. The pool of useful perks is also small. I typically go after the same handful every time. They have a lot of work to do on this mode to make it truly engaging.

I think this would be better if showdown bosses were also you having to pitch to teams for X amount of outs using your starter or your closer

I had 3 pitchers and a player that really wasn't going to help the cause, but I chose the player. Next round, same 3 pitchers with another player that wasn't going to help the cause again. This is during the initial draft, obviously. Still, that's just turrble.
