How Have You Adjusted your Pitching w/ Patch?

I’ve been praying my pitches end up where I located them. It seriously feels like I have even less control now, which I didn’t think was possible

Isnt Gagne one of the best available pitchers for the switch hitter event? I'm assuming that's why hes going up.

Figured we should put our heads together and (hopefully) get ahead of the curve (no pun intended) on how to adjust pitching w/ the buffed hitting.
I only play on All-Star, but here's what I have noticed / adjusted after ~6-7 games on RS:
- Players that rely heavily on fastball have been getting destroyed - I can't keep anyone in the yard with Hal, people are waiting on the fastball, taking the curve and slider which are balls more often than not.
Pearson and Kopech have kinda been getting meh before the patch, but now their 102 MPH doesn't seem as OP
- Players with movement pitches now seem to be the move. I used Kluber and shut someone down, almost exclusively using the slurve and sinker. Anytime I threw a fastball the guy jumped at it, so I began only mixing that in sparingly.
- I have 170K stubs, and noticed Gagne's price is rising, should I grab him for 60K? Seems like his mix of movement pitches might be nice right now.
Just my thoughts, please share any insight!

I did really well with Hal in my last game (including a HR) because I threw about 80% changeup and slider.

Create a Pitcher and come armed with a Knuckleball.
Seriously, i think if you can use the fastball sparingly
that will help.
Slide-pieces, Slurves, Sweeping Curves,
and Changes galore, if you can throw them
for strikes when needed. -

If you meant when i posted 'Slide-pieces,' i meant a Slider. That is slang for a Slider. I learned hearing Joe Morgan when he did Sunday Night Baseball and Keith Hernandez on Mets broadcasts.
As for the slide step, i'm not sure, haven't used it in awhile, but it is in the controls. Just check there. -
stay away from fastball, I only use it after I throw a ton of junk to try and suprise them but otherwise it gets hammered.
