Online play has become a disaster

You quit during a game though.

I wish I could post a screenshot although I did email it in to the Show team, but I lost a game last night because of a bad call at first that was even worse than Jim Joyce in the perfect game. My runner's foot had crossed the bag literally 2 full seconds before the ball hit the fielder's glove, yet was called out.
Then, in my next game, I was up 3-0 late when everything froze. I left the game on the screen and checked my internet connection, which was running fast and flawlessly. After about an hour, I turned off the game and sure enough, I received a loss despite perfectly working internet and being well ahead in the game.
I am done with online play and certainly with buying stubs or next year's game until you fix these ridiculous bugs and also crack down on cheaters. Playing online is supposed to be fun, instead it's been ruined by glitches and those who exploit them. Enough is enough.
Careful if you offend too many people on here you'll get banned for speaking the truth

No I did not. I was handily winning the game and it froze.

Yep. It's amazing how many feathers are ruffled when you point out obvious glitches and call out cheaters. I strongly suspect that many posters here are the actual cheaters.

They're not cheaters they're just trash and they enjoy winning off of the bs that happens to players better than them. Seeing players better than then struggle raises their self esteem

The game server says otherwise.

... and you turned your PS off after waiting for an hour. Thats a disconnect on your end... Is that so hard to comprehend?

Actually got a response from Chuck at SDS today. Looks like they finally might be taking cheating and freezing seriously. We'll see...
Edit: Kasey at SDS just responded as well. Fingers crossed that an online patch is in the works...

Freezing and cheating are two separate things. Freezing is some server or connection issue on a players end( could’ve been yours) it would be nice if they gave the team winning the win and the other guy a vacated decision. ( no L or W) But then you’d have cheaters figuring out how to freeze every time they get a lead. The end of the day, who cares. Sure it sucks you lost for quitting out, but move on and win the next one. Or sit it out until the other guy quits next time.
-
I didn’t “quit.”
-
Turning off your PS while in a Freezeoff is considered quitting...
Apparently you were aware of that or why did you wait an hour till your turned off the PS -
Just posted a thread politely asking why we can't publicly accuse cheaters. Had some great responses, but SDS deleted it after less than an hour. It's getting harder and harder to believe that SDS wants the online game to be fair. They seem to be completely fine with cheaters and hackers.
-
Unfortunately we cant publicly accuse you for being a dimwit... oh wait...
-
I didn’t get banned for spamming!! They kicked me off the forum for repeating myself!!!
-
Really hoping the forthcoming patch addresses some or all of these concerns. I’m encouraged based on the emails I’ve gotten from SDS the past few days. Fingers crossed!
-
So far, so good. I’m impressed with the new patch so far. Now if SDS would just crack down on cheaters including several who’ve posted in this thread...

I heard they were gonna patch all people with low iqs that can’t understand how freeze offs work off the game

Just because your favorite team beat cheaters, doesn't mean that everyone you play is a cheater

Never said everyone cheats. My 5-game online winning streak ended yesterday because the other guy was simply better than me. I have no problem with that. But there are MANY, MANY cheaters polluting this game and forum. That's a fact.
