Sincere question, is the pitch speed faster in ranked? I'm pretty terrible but trying my very best to get better. Before my ranked games i go to practice mode and load up a pitcher that pitches in high 90s on Hall of Fame. When i can start squaring fastballs i'll load up my first ranked game.

I'm only 300 level, so it should be on all star. When i get into the game, i am very late on all fastballs, it somehow seems faster than when i was practicing on HOF.

    Is this anyone else's experience?

Yes, I suggest increasing the fb speed slider. I haven’t messed around with it but curious how many ticks to the right correlate with HOF/Legend speeds. Anyone know by any chance?

Any suggestions? @Papa_Valsalva mentioned changing the sliders, do you guys have any tried and true settings? Do the sliders affect all game modes? I've never messed with them before.

Just want to get into a 300 level game and not be blown away by every pitcher than has a fast ball in the high 90s. I thought i was going about practicing correctly, but appears not.

go to the main menu, and go to slider settings. You can save a sliders file that you can load any time you wanna practice, the sliders will not impact your gameplay in DD at all. Just of note, any time you go into DD and back out of DD or load up the game the next day you'll have to load those specific sliders from your save file
