So is there any actual matchmaking in event games? I have 3 diamonds in my lineup, and the teams I’ve played so far have also had a small amount of diamonds. Is it based off your team or is it just random?

I got two LS diamonds, 1 being a reliever, and have faced full diamond squads in 4 games so far.
Def no matchmaking lol

I think it has something to do with how many wins you have on your current run.

Well just learned it the hard way as the next guy I played had a full diamond squad and went up 5-0 in the first lol
