Finally Beat 1st Inning Showdown

Down 10-15 against Marquez. Beat it with 8 outs left. I'm a scrub player who uses directional. I'll never be WS or go 12-0, but if I can beat Showdown, you can beat showdown.

Played all the way through; failed three blue missions because I got antsy, beat both mini-bosses.

I know it's been said before, but the best advice is to be patient, only swing on two strikes (or if you're sure it's a meatball). Draft for power. Be willing to take a K instead of a DP. Pause it and take a few minutes if you feel yourself getting in your own head. (Special shoutout to Stryder's helpful tips post, btw.)

Anyway, it's not impossible by any stretch, and it's a great way to grind.

Oh you mean the ones that are easier? The 1st inning showdown is the hardest one and its not even close. The division showdowns can be tricky but they are definitely easier than the 1st inning

Nelly really does hate baseballs, throw one at him and he smacks it away, put him in the field and he stays as far away from it as possible!

Congrats. Took me 5 tries to beat the 3rd inning. The first day it came out I went 0-3 on it and 3-1 online. The frustration definitely builds up on these.
