Clarification on inner peace
-
Is the Inner Peace good on pitches exclusively in the middle square?
Or does it work in pitches in the middle "column" that are slightly low or high?If it's middle-middle only then the perk is not really worth it since those are the pitches we usually jump all over.
Thanks -
I completely forgot about the showdown perks for a second and thought, is this guy asking about yoga? Lol.
I don't really know the particulars of inner peace perk, so sorry, I can't really help you there, but thanks for the brief laughter at my own stupidity lol.
-
I think its pitches only right down the middle aka a useless perk.

I thought the same thing, I thought this was going to be a thread that was going to clarify how to get inner peace while playing MLB the show 20. Had my hopes up for a second.

I would only see it being useful paired up with the lucky 7 perk. I try and get exit velo boost and contact when losing boost
-
Is it just me or do a lot of the perks seem pointless? I feel like inner peace is extremely situational to the point that it’s not useful. Anything to do with “get a boost when winning” is pointless because really we want to stock up on boosts for the showdown. I’m not going to blow 1 of 3 perk spots on shutting down the opponent’s running game. And I don’t trust any of the pitching perks because I don’t think I can “fool” the CPU with better break or more velocity or better location. I dunno. It seems like only 2 or 3 perks are genuinely useful.

Strategery!

It breaks most of the down in RTTS, I can’t remember what it said about inner peace but I think it explained exactly what your asking. There is a base quirk and a boosted one in RTTS so just make sure you check. You probably only need to play about 20 mins if you haven’t started one.

I find the pitching perks particularly useless. It says a lot though, when you have a perk to make your perfect release more likely to not miss.
-
I keep seeing talk of this "lucky 7" perk. I've never seen it in any of showdowns. What does it do?
-
Pitching perk all of them is useless. The most useless perk is the one that says it makes your batter less likely to move away from the box on an inside pitch. Only perk worth using is that heart one and ice cold veins one.
-
It certainly doesn’t make me more calm.

I think it says the 7th pitch of an AB will be a guaranteed meatball down the middle. I am way too impatient to get any use from that perk though.

Its guaranteed to be down the middle? That sounds ridiculous. No wonder I've never seen it.

The perk simply says a strike. It may be down the middle, but I’ve never used it.

It's only a bronze, so if you dont get it on 1st perk selection, you'll never see it.
I honestly see next to nothing from any park, other than lucky 7, I know that works. But the others Mehdi. Liked Rattled, CPU still doesn't make errors, even when activated.

It means that you are on lockdown by yourself, with no one to bother you

It’s actually one of the best perks for the boss showdowns. Especially if you are facing sinkerballers. Middle square change up. The “almost” is always an XBH, I did have the cpu make a diving play on one, that’s fun
-
I always grab inner piece. That, rattled and the battery one are the best to have.
-
Pretty sure Inner Peace is for all three middle sections.
Oppo Taco and Insider Info are for all outside and inside sections so why would Inner Peace be different?
Lucky 7 guarantees the 7th pitch will always be right down the middle. In my experience it’s not always the same type of pitch though so my timing has been off at times.
