I am done for this year(not a an angry rant)

I am done guys.Not because I hate the gameplay or have a problem with the game but because I messed things up

I was working on NMS for Mantle and was [censored] close.Just got Trout today for 300k and had 225K in the bank only like 6 teams to complete.

Anyway I was playing the AL Showdown for Stage 2 and lost to Eck 3 times in a row in the first mini boss challenge.Never failed it before.

Got angry for no reason and instead turning the game off to cool off I bought 3 50 pack bundles like an idiot.

Pulled 8 golds

Now I have like 7K in the bank and the NMS dream is gone.

Only because I did something stupid.No one to blame but me I guess.

I was thinking of cutting back the hours on the Show anyway because I never get the chance to play other games now but not like this.

No motivation of course to play now when I messed it all up.

All on me.

Anyway it truly was a blast being on this forum and ranting about Showdown and god knows what else.

I wish you luck and I will be back next year.

Don't get down, you'll probably pull Trout again in a free pack now from conquest or daily login lol.

Jesus I hope you don't quit when real life gets you down. I'm still here and I don't even know what month it is. And i'm a Mariners fan.

There are a lot of good reasons to quit.....this isn’t one of them.

Stubs are so easy to make man, why give up because of that? Sitting on almost 2M over here.

Update for those who care

After tell all this to my uncle(who is a bigger Show fan that anyone I know),he actually bought me 150K in stubs with his own money and not telling me

So now I have to play the game and apparently pay him back LOL

Don't do that. Your way closer than I am to Mantle. I still have to get most of the diamonds done and only have 70K in stubs. I have very little success flipping, I'm a terrible hitter, can't win a showdon for anything, was down to 825 stubs a month ago, but I keep grinding because I want to do this and have to figure out a way.

It will be so rewarding when I do. Keep the faith my man. Don't give up.

Don't give it up man. I'm going for NMS as well. There are so many stubs in the game. I refuse to flip, but earned 150k on Saturday by just playing.

That stellar gamemode called "Showdown" has definitely been a swing and miss by SDS. They need to scrap it before more PS4 controllers get slung into the wall.

Hey man shake it off. We all get impulsive sometimes. Also, why is there such shame in spending money on cards to play a game that you love to play? I spent two years doing the no money spent grind and then realized, hey, I work a [censored] good job and work my [censored] off. The last thing I want to do when I get home is grind showdown for 3 hours for a chance to get one more good card to add to my lineup that I can't use until tomorrow because I am too tired. I happily spent $300 to start up my squad this year and I don't understand how thats a bad thing when in reality that is like one day's hours of work.

I never criticize grinders and never criticize trust fund teams. People spend money on the things they love to do. You don't see people getting outraged at others for going out to eat for $100 when they could have made their food at home for $16

Having mantle is overrated. I need 3 teams(3 very expensive teams) and I would probably have every card but Trout and be well on my way to Trout but I just blow the stubs on packs. Online is the worst part of this game by a mile and can’t use your team in showdown so who needs mantle. ‍️
