Pitching is utter trash. Aiming is completely pointless as the ball goes right down the middle or WAY outside the zone regardless of input. Game play overall is just luck of the 1s and 0s. Home run banner is still broken. Still! I mean come on.
I play because I love baseball and miss it. If the real stuff ever comes back I will not be turning this on ever again as I will be watching that.
San Diego Studios is so lucky there is nothing else to do or watch. I don't think I'm alone in saying quarantine is the only reason to still be playing this retched attempt at a baseball simulation. No 2021 for me. That is for sure.
Im not sure which modes you’re frustrated with, but a suggestion if you will...Try MTO. Turn on cut scenes and play on a level you’ll feel comfortable or where you’ll feel challenged. Listen to the commentary and look at the awesome visuals in between pitches. Tonight I was in a day game in Toronto and in Pittsburgh for sunset. The game may have issues, but these types of visuals are not one IMO.
Don’t look at it as a way to grind affinity. Look at it as a way to enjoy baseball. I spent a week away so that I could do the event. And it was so refreshing to not feel rushed hitting or pitching and feel like every loss was a total waste of time.
If MTO is part of your frustration, then I’m sorry man. It’s a bummer that you’re frustrated. Just try to find the parts of the game you do enjoy.
