Players league vs Other Esports leagues

I have only watched the mlb one and for the most part it has been very enjoyable. NHL is going to do a 30 team tournement as well but havent seen any of the other sports. Gallo, Snell and Phillip's were by far the best ones to watch for me in the MLB. I've become a big fan of Phillips after the players tourney.

I have seen the NHL cup broadcast on TV, it isn't pro's playing but definitely the best cheeser's in the world. When I saw the NHL cup being broadcast on live TV I asked myself why would you ever broadcast this trash on television?, its the equivalent of two morbidly obese people making a sextape and sharing it on Pornhub.

I agree 100%. NHL is a game made up of pure glitch play and backwards skating morons. I detest that game and what the series has become

Been going downhill ever since they hired Ramjagsingh, At least SDS does its best to patch out exploits, EA grins and broadcasts them live for the world to see.

I loved the players league on twitch as it was rich and unforced. The networks stole the magic and soul of the tourney by removing the twitch audience. Now it may as well be two random dudes and RoFlo playing because it’s soulless. Players are stiff and dialogue feels forced now compared to their twitch broadcasts. Now it just feels like another cliche riddled interview broken up by commercials. I enjoyed logging on a 6pm to get my nightly dose of live sports.
