How do u know if.....

You are the one "hosting" the online game? Of that's a thing on the show. Seems like things ARE skewed towards one side alot

SDS

Good question.
If I remember correctly you check
The lag on lineup screen

Go up and down
On it and see if it lags
Or not. If it not smooth when going
Down the other person Probably hosting

So if ur home team, ur the host. Interesting. Makes sense, think I'll look at my game history and check out my losses. Now that I think about it when I'm the away team things tend to go wrong for me more often

SDS

Do not forget, you have no idea how bad your opponents connection is when you are home team till the game starts.

The only way to know if your opponent is robbing dorm room WiFi 4 rooms down the hall is to be away team and check the lag yourself at the lineup screen.

It doesn't give the home team an advantage, it just effects connection and lag, if the host has terrible internet which I have found a lot of people do, its going to be laggy and pretty much unbearable to play. I have played games where the lag was so bad every time I would pitch the meter would pause for a good 3 seconds before continuing. Now I just go up and down the line up, if it's smooth I play, if it takes an hour to get to the 9 spot then I back out and search for a new game.
