Sorry for the questions

I have a few questions and would be thankful for someone answering...I'm still trying to figure out DD in my first year.
We are in 2nd inning program right now:
How do I unlock Duke, Roy Oswalt and Helton?
Can I just buy them and use them towards the 2nd inning voucher and 75 stars still?
Can I still collect the legends Maddux, Smoltz, Mantle and get the 20 or so stars for that 1st inning program?
Do I have to collect Carter, Hanram, and Feller before new bosses are released May 1st?
Will I be able to still collect points from April players in May and beyond?
If I collect Carter, Hanram and Feller and get the voucher and 75 stars, can I sell them after? (I thought I saw a post about that)
I think this is all for now....sorry for the amount of questions...its a little confusing trying to figure out on my own.
Thanks again for helping out.

There are no time limits to collecting and getting the stars, or for monthly programs.
The only time limit is the daily missions. Those end for previous innings

You can't unlock them anymore unless you have enough stars to get to 300 via showdown/conquest/collections. Otherwise they are purchasable on the market.
@thelowrie5 said in Sorry for the questions:

Yes.
@thelowrie5 said in Sorry for the questions:

Yes...buy via market and you can lock them in if you want.
@thelowrie5 said in Sorry for the questions:

You can only "collect" one of them via program when you reach 300 stars. You can buy the other two at anytime (or all 3 if you don't make it). Just like with the others, you can always buy and lock in after the 3rd inning program starts.
@thelowrie5 said in Sorry for the questions:
Will I be able to still collect points from April players in May and beyond?
Not sure what you're asking here. I'm pretty sure you can still collect the player program guys and lock them in and do their related missions even after the inning program "ends".
@thelowrie5 said in Sorry for the questions:

Technically, you're not supposed to be able to. That's a glitch.

Also to slightly expand on this. The only thing that I believe expires at the end of the current "featured" inning program are:
-Daily mission stars
-Stars for just playing the game (no notifications but you'll notice slight increases as you play)
-Winning Ranked/online games. There is currently a mission to win 10 games in ranked seasons and 10 games in online. I'm fairly certain that once the inning moves to inning 3 program that all ranked/online wins will count towards the mission for the 3rd inning.EDIT: Per below continuing conversation, apparently winning ranked/online games counts across all innings that haven't completed.

- There are two ways now that you can get Duke, Helton, or Oswalt: Either buy them outright or get to 300 stars (gets you one of them) by playing whata avaialble on the 1st Inning Program AND doing one or both of the Exchanges. (May be cheaper to juat buy one.) You dont need all 3 unless you want them or want the 75 Stars towards Inning 2 (but depending on when you started playing, you couldve had 300 by now. I have 575)
You can still Collect the Legends (Maddux, Ortiz, etc; if you want to pay around 7K for each of them (bout 70K total), but that will only get you ONE of the 1st Inning Bosses (and you can practically get those Legends for free just by playing. There are packs in the XP Path)
You DON'T have to Collect all 3 bosses, unless you want them to use, or to uae to get the voucher for the next Program. And you don't have to get them to unlock the new Inning. That happens once the 'timer' expires. And that timer juat lets you know how long your Dailys are active for that specific Inning.
The Monthly Awards players can be done anytime you want. They dont have to be done in that particular month. And you dont have to do April's to unlock May's.
No, you CANNOT sell ANY card that you Collect.
The are only TWO reasons you would want to lock in an Inning Boss: To get all 3 to Collect for the 75 Stars 'headstart' towards the next Program. Or if you want to level them up to their Prime card.
Side note: if they drop enough I usually buy the 2 bosses I didnt pick at 300 and hold onto them until the next Inning's Bosses are 'leaked'. If there is someone that I want bad, and I can justify keeping all 3 from the previous Inning; I'll collect for the 75 Stars. If it's someone I don't want, but may be in huge demand for other people, I'll sell off what bosses I held onto if the price is right.
EX: I took Oswalt at 300 for the 1st Inning. And bout Duke/Helton for around 30K each. When they announce Feller, HanRam, and Carter; they orher three junped up enough that I sold all 3 for 40K each. So instead of selling Oswalt for 30K when I got him; I gambled with another 60K and made stubs. But it doesnt always work like that. And when I mean 'hold on to a boss'; what I do is when I get one I put in a Sell Order for that player at around 100K.
Since it will never sell for that, it keeps them in my inventory and because they are 'for sell'; I won't accidently lock them in.

IE; If you dont start playing RS until the 5th Inning. Once you start playing, any win up to 10, will give you credit for that Mission in the current AND previous Programs; as long as they weren't already completed.

Interesting. Did you test this or have a source? I tend to get my 10 ranked wins during each month so I can't personally test. Be entertaining to get 15 star boosts for all inning programs at once.
I figured ones like the current "Get XBH with FOTF players" would still be do-able but assumed the "win online" was like dailies and only available for the current inning.

When I get to my console; I'll send a screenshot. I didn't start playing Ranked until this Inning (you can check my recorded on here).
I have 6 or 7 wins for 2nd Inning AND the same amount for 1st Inning.
Also, I never attempted the 6 Hrs with Curtis Granderson online until this month (that's in the 1st Inning) and its tallying now.

Well, thats surprisingly unexpected and good to know.
The Granderson thing I expected to not be an issue (I'm actually banking on being able to lock in and do missions with Gibson and Posada later to make further progress in inning 2) but never expected wins to count across innings.
Thanks for the info.

I just started playing RS after 2nd inning had started and my 7 wins so far are counting towards both. And likewise for Granderson. The one HR I have from him is during 2nd inning and it is counting.

No, you do not. A new program will be released regardless of whether or not you collected the bosses in this program.
Will I be able to still collect points from April players in May and beyond?
Probably, but I couldn't say for sure. In other years, you could.
If I collect Carter, Hanram and Feller and get the voucher and 75 stars, can I sell them after? (I thought I saw a post about that)
You could, until some jabroni posted the glitch on here and SDS patched it. They'll be locked to your collection and become unsellable.
