I wouldn’t be surprised if they did, but my guess is it wouldn’t be released until around the all star game

Eh, I’m not so sure I’d say it’s a big part of baseball anymore. I think the heyday of the HR Derby being cool is gone (it felt much much cooler in the 90s — probably in no small part due to Griffey). It’s still a fun novelty, but a lot of top power hitters don’t even compete so it’s not as exciting as it could be. Putting it in the same sentence as Gold Glove and Silver Slugger seems like a stretch.

They also have the mvp award cards and Cy Young, but I don’t think it will be an award series card. It will most likely be an all star card of some kind. Award cards will probably only stick to end of the year awards. Be cool if they did rookie of the year award cards too.

They will probably give whoever wins this year a derby cars but that if they even play this year

Obviously in real life winners of HR Derby are not in the same sentence but it’s still an “Award” you can win in baseball and therefore should be part of the Award cards. That was my overall point

Why don't they just include the map of the local softball beer league. The HR derby winner is not an award winner.
