Chipper a disappointment?

I’ll put him at 3B and Gorman at 1B. Always nice having another switch hitter in the lineup. Shef can move back to RF I guess

I like this setup

I used both his gold and diamond cards in the showdown. Small sample size I know but I couldn’t hit anything with him. Second time around I picked Roberts and raked.

Well his hitting attributes are only in the 80's. Unless of course he faces a lefty which isnt gonna happen often. Especially since guys know he rips them. So yeah, a lot of people arent gonna have as much success with him. He could definitely be a good vs Lefty bench bat.

So, when i sold chipper i decided to pick up GG Heyward. My first 2 games were tough......Newhouser.......and Newhouser lol. Went Offer. 3rd game faced a righty, and viola!!! 2 for 2 with 2 dingers!

I plan on using him for stubs so I can complete the LS series eventually. Although when I used him as a rental a few days ago he hit well for me but I have Nolan Gorman at 3rd so I'm good.
I’m trying to get the Gorman card...how do you like him?

I really like him. He hit's everything hard. Not many home runs yet but everything has been extra bases at least. I just need to get his swing down. He's solved my revolving door at 3rd base for now though.

Cool-thanks for replying...I look forward to trying him out...have been using 92 Matthews some at 3rd...his defense and speed were frustrating so also tried FOF Correa and 85 Mondesi there as well so I feel your pain on the revolving door approach at 3b LOL!

I like the 85 Mondesi. He has a glitchy swing and makes for a nice bench bat. I just prefer Gorman/Ramirez and FOTF Torres over him. Best of luck.
