Ohtani in franchise sim

Does anybody else realize how every year ohtani has a 6+ ERA? Or does anyone know why this happens?

This is the inherent problem with two way players. They dont get enough rest in between starts.

Ah... still doesn’t really explain how he gets lit up on opening day every season.
