I submitted same report this morning (under Account Issue) with screenshots, completed ALCS with Angels and got the "Could not authenticate console" message. I also see that same message now if I try to start a new MTO. Let's keep this thread updated with any developments good or bad.
They are probably just going to respond with a "sorry" "just do it again,"

I'm not restaring the rays MTO from scratch. I lost points completing the series before the world series which wouldv'e gotten me to 70. If MTO wasn't such a long mode to complete I would restart it. However i assume the game doesn't like when you don't finish it in one sitting? I can't play for 5-6 hours straight so I hope SDS fixes this issue.

Thank you been trying to figure out why my MTO points aren’t going to mine TA. Too much time to start over!!

I got a response, it said they can't do anything about it.
"Thanks for the message. I'm afraid we are unable to alter flags in MTO files. I'm sorry for the inconvenience."
Lost ability to get rewards for four different seasons, all in the playoffs, because of a power outage while I had the game open in another mode.

Hello there, is this error fixed yet? I did nt have any power outage and put a ton of time into MTO for the Rays and started getting this error after the first playoff series.

Try to be positive. I am, whatever that is worth. I'm ticked off that there is a game mode that helps with affinity points but if you don't finish it all in one sitting you may not get the points or this error. This is unacceptable bro. So I hope SDS gets on this because i'd be playing this mode as much as possible.

Can we still get rewarded with the points if we finished and won the World Series?

PSA: If your run already received the authentication error before this patch, you will not get any points for it. Tested it out by finishing a WS round, 0 TA points awarded due to authentication error.
