Showdown perks questions ?
-
I made a research on the forum about that but found nothing.
Is there a way to know differences between perks ? And what exact value it get to players ?
For example, what's the exact difference between a slight bonus and a massive bonus.
It should be nice if we see the stats added when the player is at the plate. And if a player already has 125 contact, do you think he will benefit from a "massive contact" perk ?

I have no idea if this works, but you could note his contact stats on the menu screen, then join a game and when a perk is live, try pausing, going to a player and pressing triangle during a game to view their attributes. I don't anticipate this working for inside edge, oppo taco or inner peace since these are location-dependant perks, but this might work for things like heart attack, defibrillator, etc.
Just thinking that equipment stat boosts show on a CAP in-game, but it shows is raw stats in the menu, so maybe these perks work the same way. If you test it out, let me know if it works. Interested to see the results.

idk, but if you ever get that one that is lucky number 7, take it, and then work that count, you're getting a fastball right down the pipe on the 7th pitch and I swear literally every single one was squared up for a homerun. Easily beat a Showdown the other night with it, but haven't seen it since.

Not always a fastball! But really nice perk and always down the middle.

Do you foul balls off on purpose to get to 7 pitches? I'm not good at doing that I always put it fair with [censored] contact.

I can you tell you that the 'rattled' perk has no effect on the AI defense as they were still making diving catches and plays

I tried this method ut it doesnt work. I had a bonus on contact on first pitch of the at bat, but changed absolutely no stats on goldy george brett

So there's absolutely no way to know if a perk is really active or not. And it's not like the game wasnt buggy some times and we can trust the engine to work properly...

I honestly dont see any real advantages to these.
I hit two warning track flies with 106mph exit velocity due to my perks.
Never see the CPU make an error with rattled. I see nothing special about any of the contacts. The only one I know for sure works is lucky 7.
