Extra innings not counting for affinity

I started at zero . Played one ten inning game and one 11 inning game with the Phillies. 9 Philly player. My total should be 189. I only have 162. The equal to 2 full games played. Anyone else notice this

I think he doesn't mean the extra innings game mode but actual extra innings after the 9th.

If I read this correctly, games played against other player teams through the Extra Innings mode do count toward team affinity but only the 9 innings of a typical game. Is this correct as I am just starting to think about team affinity points?

games won't count innings after the 9th, last year and this. done to prevent exploits.

Extra Innings, as in the mode in which you play against other players' DD teams, does not count toward TA innings or any other mission.
Extra innings, as in the tenth inning or later, do not count toward TA innings or any other mission, not even in modes where innings 1-9 do count.
