Does the bomber perk do anything for the card in DD? Just noticed Brandon Marsh has it, but 92 Mike Schmidt doesn’t. I’ve had a couple perfect/perfect fly balls with Schmidt that didn’t leave the yard.

Perks are only active for LS cards. With one exception, Outlier is active for anyone that has it.
This is false. Quirks work for any card that they are attached to. If marsh has bomber that means he supposedly get some kind of extra boost because he hits a lot of home runs although none of it is written in stone or proven. Live Series cards are the only ones that have Dead red, breaking ball hitter, unfazed and first pitch hitter(the best quirks).

There are a lot of perfect perfect that do not leave the yard. There are perfect perfect that are just hard ground balls. Perfect perfect does not guarantee a homerun at all

"Active quirks like fastball hitter and first pitch hitter.". He literally said the same thing i said. Bomber is not one of those active quirks. Again, active quirks are dead red, breaking ball hitter, first pitch hitter and unfazed. Only live series has active quirks. Why would a card have a quirk But not work? Think to yourself how that makes any sense. If a card has bomber then he excels at hitting home runs no matter if he is live series or a flashback or legend or whatever. No flashback or legend or any other card that is not life series will have any active quirks. However, any card that has quirls listed they will be active.

I did a little more digging and I think what you are saying is correct. I think the bomber perk and other perks get attributed to a certain players card based on what their attributes are. So let's say everybody with over 80 power gets the bomber perk but it doesn't actually activate anything in game. I take back my statement, I apologize and I believe you are correct. The only active perks are the live Series Dead red and breaking ball in the others I listed. Those actually activate in game. That is my understanding as of now.

Yeah, kind of like how a player can have a diamond shield when you look at the card but is below 89 fielding and will have a gold badge when actually playing. It’s designed to entice people to buy.
They’ve never actually even said what the active quirks do, the only visible difference is the PCI, I think it does a bit more but there is really know way of knowing. It could be any random combination of the quirks we get in showdown.
