It would be great if people had the will power to just stop playing this awful game collectively. I really love when I'm cruising in the championship series and all of a sudden I can't beat anyone I'm matched with that is not as skilled as I am. Ill strike a dude out like 16 times and he's throwing trash that I'm flying out to the warning track and then he will win a few forced bloopers. It's disgusting. Honestly [censored] these assholes that program this game. It's so painfully obvious what they do. Most enraging game I've ever played. I'm so glad I didn't buy 20. This piece of [censored] company won't be getting another dollar from me.
Dude, you’re like that stage 5 clinger ex-girlfriend. It’s a bad look.
-
Meh it’s not that good. However if you still go back to 19 no reason not to buy 20. A lot of new stuff to grind. Like most sports games it’s not fun but it’s a good time waster.

I don't give a [censored] what it looks like to you. I paid for the product, I'm allowed to use the forum to [censored] on how bad it is. This goes for anyone else that doesn't like it either. This game robs people who are actually good at it so that it can be lenient towards shitty players like yourself so you don't quit after taking too many losses playing rather than putting in the time to get better. It throws way too many bones out.
I loathe getting uneven matches. So much [censored] ensues.

Yeah I’m so bad at this game man. You sure told me lol. I wish you could look up my record and see how terrible I really am at this game Hahahah.
You’re just way off, but believe what you want pal.
By the way, here’s a reality check: maybe you just aren’t as good as you think!

Is the game good? Not at all but no different than any other year. This game has been declining pretty steadily over the past 3 or 4 years. There is lots to like about the game and for the most part, it's ok but it's the little things that really destroy the fun in this game.
However, if the game is always handicapping good players so bad players can win, why are the same players year after year still the good players. If it happens as much as bubble players seem to think, the entire player base would be pretty close to .500. They arent because the leaderboards for the most part are the same names in the same places. Not defending the game I just hate the arguement that the game is always downplaying the better player so the worse player could lose.

This game has flaws without a doubt, but for the most part, good players still beat bad players (especially on HOF, which has the best gameplay since 16 imo). If they didn’t, then the same players wouldn’t make WS every season, and so on.
OP just seems to think the game is the sole reason why he loses games.

Complaining about a game you don’t even own lol.

I have over 220 wins and about 100 losses. I'll say a good portion of my losses came against the same formula. I have every right to be aggravated when I lose against an opponent whose swinging at every pitch and throwing bad pitches and YET my hitting is being nerfed so that everything Is a fly ball deep in the outfield and the hits the opponent DOES get are bloops. I'm sorry but a lot of the losses I'm getting are against guys who aren't good. That's just how it is. I play a lot of people who are actually good at this game. That also beat me, or I beat them. I know the difference, it's fairly obvious. Guys who are swinging at everything and don't know how to paint the corners, are trash. And the game absolutely helps them out so that they don't quit forever. I truly don't get this worked up when I lose when I know the game was a good match and maybe it was decided by a play or two, yanno [censored] happens. But when it's BLATANT.... that is disgusting. I've been playing this game for 10 years and real baseball in high school and college. I'm not talking out of my [censored] whatsoever and if you want to play me I'd GLADLY show you.

So wait, are you playing 20 or 19? The fact you get so wound up over small things during the game is why you lose (assuming you’re as good as you portray yourself to be).
By the way, I’m not sure what playing baseball in high school or college has to do with this game. I imagine almost everyone here played baseball to some sort of competitive level. Some more than others. Who cares?
Have I lost to players worse than me in 20? In BR and 3 inning events? Absolutely. In ranked seasons? Not so much, simply because I don’t get into meltdown mode like it seems you do and just screw the pooch.
RS provides a lot of time for you to overcome weird stuff that can happen, but you will miss it if you’re acting like you are when you post lol.

You act like I don't know how long a baseball game is. I don't get into melt down mode. I get mad at the end of the game when I outhit and out pitch someone whose a shitty player and they get the "lucky" bloops to give them lead, meanwhile that fastball they are throwing in the upper part of the zone is a fly ball to the warning track EVERY time?? But they can get that clutch homerun with a change up in the dirt? Or that bloop in the outfield on a fastball at their eyes? Don't ignore that these are things. I'm playing 19... I will not buy 20. Maybe 21 If they overhaul the dda coding and myriads of other issues I'm seeing about 20

20 plays really well on Hall of Fame. I try to avoid all star at all costs. HOF is very rewarding and all pitches are effective because the timing windows are tiny. The thing I like about 20 vs other editions is the “perfect” feedback. It really tells you who’s actually placing the pci perfectly and timing it up. Most people who claim they’re really good with their pci placement really aren’t.
