Is Legend RS even playable? Also Prestige Grinds?

I mean the amount of Good/Okays and poor PCI feedback... combined with the fielding issues... how is Legend is playable or enjoyable??
I have got into WS every season in 19 and in 20 so far. In 19 and even this year, I was able to climb the ranks and work into top 200 and above... Legend last year was doable, not great, but doable....
THIS YEAR?!?! The enormous amounts of Good/Okay contact, the poor poor fielding issues, AND the fact I see Kluber out of the bullpen or starting every game... Honestly, it just makes me want to quit my Legend games and go play on HOF. And I mean even HOF has its issues... but I feel like HOF is dobale to play and grind for Prestige stats.
ALSO not to mention, there is only one way to do Prestige grinds for cards like Chipper, Didi, Han Ram etc.... so you are forced into playing RS... and it is ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE (unless you are incredibly skilled with your PCI) to grind these stats playing on Legend. Seems like you get maybe a few solo shots here and there.... It just takes FOREVER on Legend.
The fact that I am FORCED to play RS to grind ANY type of Prestige stat is horrible for my mental state and for the game... there NEEDS to be another way besides banging my head into a wall playing RS every day...

Honestly it depends how good you are. Personally, I'm a player that can make WS reliably every month but would need some good fortune to go on a run to reach 1000. Of course I will get better at legend the more I play on it just as I started the year playing 3-2 games on HOF and now there are some games where HOF feels like AS, but I can tell that most lower tier WS players are not good enough to be playing on legend.
However, while legend is very hard, it also feels incredibly rewarding to hit and pitch on. The PCIs are tiny so if you want to hit the ball, you're really going to need to do a good job with PCI placement. I don't details remember how the game plays year to year like so many people on here say they are able to do so I can't give a detailed comparison vs last year but my initial impressions of legend are that it is difficult but excellent.

Pretty sure they made it so they can only be obtained by playing ono7be so everyone and their mother doesn't have one.

Sometimes if I'm having a good RNG day I'll play some games after reaching WS, but for the most part I can't play more than 2-3 games in one sitting before getting pissed at the random outcomes. I have no motivation to sit down for hours at a time and work on my game because ultimately I'll just end up getting screwed out of hits no matter what

I wish I had the motivation to get to 900, I just really don't touch ranked anymore. I have way more fun offline doing showdowns or just playing n the event. I suppose I'll eventually get around to it before the season ends on the 11th, but it's nice to relax and not worry if a fielding error is going to cost you a valuable win.
Now fielding is improved, I haven't had a ball hit my face in awhile, but the urge to play just isn't there

10000% agreed. My biggest gripe is the Prestige grinds... the fact I have to force myself into playing RS to get these Prestige cards... its rough tbh.

I get what you are saying... It is just frustrating putting good PCI's on the balls and getting very poor exit velo. It feels like unless I am playing at Shippet or Coors, the balls go no where even if I do square it up. and the fielding man... THE FIELDING!!! Makes it so so bad for online play...
I just feel like Legend isnt nearly as fun this year. Like I said, I have climbed this year. My peak is 1020, but I have 0 motivation to stay up there and take this game SUPER serious when the state of the game is so poor. Would rather just not care, stay in the 800-900's, and not care if I win or not and just grind these Prestige stats.
Not caring if you win or lose makes this game SO much more enjoyable... Caring about my rank and rating makes this game feel like such a drag and when I am winning 7-5 in the 9th inning and Mickey Mantle gets hit in the face by a ball and I lose, it makes it THAT much more frustrating...

I love playing on legend because it is something similar to real baseball to me. Sure the fielding errors suck and the bad animations too. The good/okays I don't mind because how many times do you watch a game and the players are hitting the ball with good timing but have low exit velos cause they just didn't barrel it up? I get it's a game, but I kind of like the fact that every hitter in the lineup isn;t going 4-4 with 3 HRs (unless I play someone insanely good). I can attack "lesser" hitters and can manipulate my way around the lineup. It's more enjoyable once I tell myself the Ws and Ls don't really matter in the grand scheme of life and that I should just have fun playing some baseball.

i need them to make an event where i can play with the cards i need to use to prestige.. call it a "road to prestige event" for all i care. let us grind, let us hit bombs. right now these prestige cards are only attainable if youre a bad player, that has a .500 record and plays most games on all-star. but for us that have to play legend it just isnt fun.

THIS!!! THIS IS MY POINT!!! I am not asking for 4-4 days with 3 Homer with Mantle... I am asking for a different way to grind these Prestige cards without having to 10000% focus in ALL THE TIME on Legend... Like I have to 100% put all of my focus and energy on playing RS and getting hits with these guys... and even if I am lucky I will go 2-4 with Mantle and get a Homer... and thats on a GOOD DAY!
I dont wanna sit for hours and hours and hours getting these stats, ruining my mental state with this less then perfect game... I wanna enjoy it and RN... RS... especially on Legend is not a fun time

Umm its an extra 3 attribute points. Y'all are way too serious about the prestige cards. They are not meant to be attained by everyone. Thats why they are prestige. They also arent meant to be attained the first two months the game is released. Its not even summer yet lol

The problem with this is that allowing it to be done offline makes it much easier so they would either have to do something like triple the stat requirements to keep the amount of work necessary to be the same, or it would just encourage something like a couple years ago where the only realistic way to get immortals became playing dozens of hours of games on rookie which was far worse than the current system. Besides, +3s in everything is far from a difference maker so I personally might be more willing to swing 3-0 or 3-1 in a blowout game to get an extra hit or two closer to completing the mission, but I plan on playing the game normally and letting prestige players come when they come
