Game will be the same as it has been since it launched on PS3. PS4 was supposed to be revolutionary and it wasnt, PS5 is supposed to be revolutionary, but it wont be because there are no actual baseball consultants on the team. They need someone to tell them what would actually happen in a game when they see some of the insane, never happened in the history of the sport, occurrences that happen so frequently in this game.

I’ve quit 10 times already. That’s how bad this game is.
And packs are terrible. TheY should be pulled off the game until they figure out correct pricing.

I ask myself that all the time. Probably just boredom. I need 3 teams for Mantle, if I didn’t buy packs I’d probably only be Trout short lol. It’d just a game though so it’s whatever.

Thanks for the heads up! Don't know what we would have done once we found out you weren't playing vs the CPU. I'm hopeful that now that we know, we will get through this together but SDS may never recover and THE SHOW 20 will never be the same without you...

While I’m not quitting, I agree with quite a bit of what you’re saying.
I think showdown has me the most frustrated right now. I actually really like the idea of it and the set up of it, but it’s ridiculously random and way harder than the posted difficulty level.
I’m not a great player but I can play any other mode on all star and win extremely easily most times, but rookie mode on showdown and I’m struggling big time. They pitch like it’s hall of fame difficulty. When I do make good/good, good/squared, and perfect contact it’s an out the majority of the time. Any other mode on rookie and balls are flying out of the park.
I really wish they’d fix it or at least be honest about the difficulty.

He ain't wrong.....we pay full price for an incomplete game that no matter what the developers do never gets fixed. Like an old car something else always goes wrong with it. Should you've loyal to old mechanic who can't fix it or should you move on....question we all ask ourselves

Done with the game. SDS is already thinking about 2021 and they have forgotten about 2020. Forget all the bugs, they made rookie play like All Star, Showdown you have Gohan out there being spiderman and robbing HR's. Fastballs move faster than Ultra Instinct Goku.
Packs are terrible Wasted 100k on stubs, opened over 100 packs and 5+ Ballin is a habit packs and not 1 diamond. Couldn't even get an Altuve but hey let's give Koogs, Shelfy, Atrin 3+ Trouts, 5+ Cole's, 2+ Belli and let these other losers think they can too pull all these diamonds. Don't tell me packs are random. SDS makes sure the "partners" get all the top level diamonds, that way suckers like me think I can pull them too.Kudos SDS kudos, you got me. Well no more. Done with the game. Deleted it from HD. Gonna go back to Red Dead Redemption or something else.
Will wait for next years SDS. Been playing since 06 but I will think long and hard before I buy next years version.Maybe I will buy it on PC and play with all the hackers. That way I can pull Trout 5x in 1 pack opening.
Honestly playing this game gives me headaches now. Not worth my health. See you guys next year, have fun for those still playing.Eventually you got to upgrade to done buying the games...my first year doing this and I feel slightly relieved going on forums reading about the gameplay. Just be careful and wait two months for them to start patching then make decision...they almost had me at launch then something reminded me of last years bait and switch....hang in there they will eventually get it right

Bullpen Blast on Candystand.com had better pitching mechanics than this game. I don't disagree with someone wanting to leave already. Its obvious how careless they are. Half of them probably adjust sliders in the modes so they can feel better about themselves.
