I agree that the adjustments to the hitting last have resulted in way to many perfect/perfect outs. But I also agree that the good hitters need to be held back a bit batting average wise. Here’s my fix.
Make the umpiring for ranked games the same as it is on March to October. On M to O the umpire often misses pitches just outside or inside the zone. Resulting in a missed ball or strike (missing mean a ball being called a strike and vice versa). I think this is a critical part of real baseball that need to be incorporated into online ranked DD play.
Also. Let us see which hand the opposing pitchers throws with in the lineup screen. It would be great to be able to set a lineup against a lefty or righty specifically.

Because the system doesn’t control the outcomes enough as is? Now let’s randomly call balls strikes and strikes balls.
