For me it was Sutter and Kyle Wright. My friend had Adonis Medina as his final boss though so it probably varies

I might have to get him myself. I only needed 5 runs against him in showdown and it took me 16 outs to get it

Yep stack up on lefties. Not sure if you know this or not but positions don't matte for boss missions. You could put Victorino at catcher for example and be perfectly fine (but only for the boss missions)
