By reducing rewards for other game modes, they are discouraging users from playing them. Because of this, users will not get as many players thru grinding. As a result, users will be forced onto diamond dynasty where they see their means to acquire players reduced to the market. In order to acquire desired players, then, people will spend money on stubs rather than grind on offline modes for XP or MTO points.

This patch, therefore, will likely increase revenue for SDS. Coincidence?

Grinding is still completely doable. What they nerfed was exploits(Outside of March To October, that nerf was just unnecessary). No one was playing HRD or leaving themselves AFK on retro mode because they had fun doing it, they did it to exploit the system.

Yes I am not denying that it is doable but fewer people will do it now.
