RIP double points

Well [censored]

I actually thought it was intentional. No reason to play MTO anymore.
-
I wonder if you don't install the patch if you can continue to accumulate double xp
-
I hope they are the community reaction and revert the decision. If they think people are going to so 18+ hours for a card that will be obsolete in 2 months they are out of their mind. Double points actually gave you an incentive to play MTO.
Sad

Try 2 weeks with the amount of headliners they’re pushing. Also not gonna complain about the actual content cuz I’ve enjoyed it. Since they’re adding more and more stages at least keep it buffed points to give us more of a reason to want to get mad in MTO for 9 hours.

I actually don't know why anyone would play the mode if it wasn't for those double points. I've only done it once (before double points appeared) and there is no way I'd do it again.
I might actually consider it if they left it at double points, but this is just a dead mode as it stands for me. Not worth the time you put into it for the rewards.

Anyone know what game number the halfway point is in MTO?

Not installing will prevent you from touching DD or anything else online

It’s right around 100, or the weekend right after July 4
-
It really hurts after the fact that I got more than 7 MTO's done. And pulled several diamonds, including Cole and Hader, from packs I got from TA's. RIP MTO.
-
They want to push showdown, the new shiny game mode. So be it, I'll stop playing for a while, maybe the rest of the year.

It won't work. You need an online connection to the servers to collect MTO affinity points. And the game will no longer connect the the server unless you install the newest update.

MTO is dead.

I just found out watching a 'Movie Gaming TV' vid, while on the bowl, which explains my reaction
. Did 2 'regular,' 2 juiced and am burnt anyway. Was good while it lasted. -
You guys do realize that if they had left it in you would most likely still have to do an MTO run with every new stage that they release. Otherwise you would have to wait until all the stages were released to get the points from one run applied to each stage.
I do agree that the XP could be increased for runs or do something to make the runs a little faster.

I personally believe it should be kept, maybe not double points but more than what there is since there’s gonna more and more stages added on. Giving the players more of a reason to play the game. Yea they can lose money but they can also lose players (Ik the players already bought the game) but pissing off the players and killing a mode makes the entire game less desirable to grind out.

I did too. I should have known better because in all actuality SDS hates our guts. I did not find that it was exploitative in the least, I just thought we were being rewarded for our time.
