Do you realize you'll be complaining that your innings played with guys on those teams will count for nothing for 2-3 months? You literally will have nothing to look forward to after getting them. Unlike stage 1 where there were rewards after FOF, there are none after these for stage 2.
Seriously, I just don't understand the need to rush everything mentality. If you rushed and played Showdown all day every day, your complaints will carry zero weight when it comes to content.Why do you care what others do? Worry about yourself Billy

Maybe they don’t want to focus on it when stage 3 comes around so they’re getting ahead of it now.
I know I’m trying to knock some out now. Not even planning to use most of them.

To me, having Heliot Ramos on my squad sooner rather than later is worth the sacrifice of not earning extra innings. But tbh I am doing inning grinds + exchanges for him. So it may be another few days before I get him. I see your point for us mostly offline folks though.

Doing showdown for XP and get cards are an added plus

To each his own I think when it comes to TA this year you need to keep up on them and SDS has provided enough options to aquire points and collect these cards. Safe to assume as we move to each stage there maybe less options to aquire cards like MTO might not be included in stage 3 for example like collections where removed from stage 2

Hang on, so am I supposed to unlock these stage 2 cards 2-3 months from now at 5 points a pop for 250 innings? is that the way i'm supposed to do it? instead of 45 minutes to do 2 showdowns?

we want these cards because some are very good. We want to be prepared for stage 3 asap. We get xp and stubs. And also we might need to collect a lot of them for whenever honus comes out

Guy plays game and grinds out cards: "What a loser grinding. Just get them in a few weeks like everyone else"
Guy works a job and buys the card he wants: "What a loser paying for cards you can earn for free by grinding"
Guy just plays with an average team and wins: "What a loser he can only win because the RNG gave him the win becuase they felt bad for his [censored] team"

Yeah i dont see the bragging here. Showdowns take 90minutes tops if you play every game out. But if you strategically skip all the challenges where it forces you to pitch and hit if you don't beat it in the first half inning, it is simple. Not to mention that the exchange for the additional 30 Fan Support Pts costs 7-10k in stubs if you work the market

Did you get beat by someone with 5-6 TA 2 players? Let people do what they want to do, it's not like its killing you or anything.

One thing to add: you don't have to rush to have 5-6 FS players. I've played the game fairly conservatively and I have 7.
