It's because they initially used his stance from his rookie/breakout card early in his career with the Marlins. He changed his swing later and because this is his Veteran series card, they made a mistake and they now corrected it. The swing he has now is also the swing this specific card had in 17.

Did they actually put his 2017 stance back in or just give him the LS version's stance? 2017 he had a nice open stance, the new LS has a weird toe tap load up and I don't like it.

I find I can hit with either stance. I am happiest about no bright blue equipment lol.

If so that's cool, because I searched through the entire catalog to use it on my CAP and it wasn't there. The thing was though, that 2017 stance was before they had multiple stances so it was technically not correct either lol, but it was amazing.

I couldn't find it either, I don't use a CAP but if you're looking for a stance All star 106, Aramis Ramirez, I use it in RTTS and it hits everything and it hits it hard.

This is great to know they are paying attention to details like correcting batting stances and equipment. I just hope they soon fix the Under Armour compression sleeve from showing up on literally every player that should have the Nike sleeve equipped instead...

    Victor Martinez's stance is OP.

Might actually try him out now. I didn’t pick him because they used the wrong stance and I loved his veteran card in ‘17 but not the rookie one.
