I absolutely suck at HoF hitting. I can't react quick enough to judge offspeed/location, let alone consistently time up a fastball. Even with the monitor I got, I simply can't hit at this level.

It's something I'm really inconsistent at. Def cannot just jump in cold or I'm going not hit anything. I gotta be 100% alert and not tired or distracted or I'll lose.

Yeah, the slightest bit tired and ability to time anything is out the window.

I’ve found that I have much more success at HOF level when I take as many pitches as I can and then try and pick up on my opponent’s pitching tendencies.
I am not skilled enough to purely read and react to pitches when they’re coming in at that speed (plus you’re nearly always dealing with facing the best arms in the game) so I try and level the playing field by getting into the mind of the opposition.
By the 4th or 5th inning I usually have a good idea of what the other guy is trying to do so I’ll start cheating my PCI towards certain locations in the strike zone.
I get super frustrated a lot of the time playing at the HOF level but I’d much rather play good players at ramped up pitch speeds because ultimately I feel like it helps me improve my own skill set.

Days of grinding showdowns has made me super sluggish on and offline.
I usually run through the conquest maps on legend for the bonus chance of diamonds/golds but right now grinding any TA mission on legend is laughable and I’m actually struggling to hit period.
Online I currently can’t catch up to a ball with Reggie Jackson who I started out really well with. I can feel the days of Veteran pitch speeds back firing. Nothing like grinding for an Alan Trammell to start 0/11 when you play the real game again lmao.

If they wouldn't make the [censored] pitch speeds go up and down every game mode it'd be easier to practice.....but my biggest thing is all these late breaking cutters and sinkers I get the pci on but it's tough to center bc of how late the break is

I was playing on All Star last year but then this year it seems that. CPU this year is a little bit easy so I'm playing on Hall of Fame but I got it on Zoom I don't know if you're a big fan of that camera but I'm definitely doing way better

Warm up in custom practice, on legend with sliders up. Take, till you get two strikes then swing away. Been doing this lately and has been helping a ton. Only do for about 10 mins or so, that should be enough.

Sinkers seem way faster, and unhittable to me, compared to a “faster” 4sfb. Think a sinker should get nerfed slightly.

I've done the USA map 3 times now, once on AS, HOF, then legend, kept track of each reward tier I got following each game and the best rewards I got weere actually on All- star. 1 diamond equipment, Verlander, Rendon, 6 gold equipment/unlockables, 4 Gold players, and some Silvers.
