Okay, so WHICH types of cards go up in value. High diamonds like trout and Berlinger?
All diamonds?
Can I get any type of specifics here?
I always ask questions, ppl respond and manage to answer none of them specifically.
I've noticed the highest tier of Live Series diamonds going up -- the "gatekeepers," if you will.
-
Mike Trout has risen from about 220K around launch to 275K+
-
Nolan Arenado started the year around 70-80K and is now consistently over 100K
-
Max Scherzer was around 55-60K in mid-March and he's now around 80-85K.
-
Justin Verlander and Jacob deGrom were like 40-50K and are now hovering around 70-75K.
What do all those players have in common? They're all at or over 90 overall. It seems like players 89 overall and under have had their prices remain pretty steady or drop a bit.
THANK you!

Gettin Cole too. When I finished the AL, I paid 225 for Trout and 75k for Cole. I think Cole is 120 now.
So do you think I should grab bellinger, Yelich, Scherzer, and degrom now with my 360ish K?

Depends on how fast you want Mantle and I you want to spend it on anything else.
The 3 you mentioned may come down in price; they may not.
But if you have nothing else to do with the stubs; buy them.

I don’t know why everyone is talking about a stub sale it’s a ways away. They never do a stub sale before all-star break.
Except for every year when they do it before Memorial Day.

A stub sale might be a month away. Then the sale usually lasts two weeks. Then it takes another couple weeks for the prices to go down a bit. Are you willing to part with your bank roll now and not get a return for another month or two? What if something comes along that just have to have but cant because you are waiting for a stubs sale? Once you sell your cards for profit after the sale you gotta be patient because you have more stubs on hand yet everything is overpriced.

Just make sure you turn every stub in your coffer into a card in your digital binder before a stub sale begins and you’ll be swimming in a pool of your stubs like Scrooge McDuck!

I have 375K stubs with the AL already completed. Should I buy all the high tier NL diamonds now, do they rise after a stub sale?
After a stub sale, is that when golds and low level diamonds will be lowest since a lot may be pulled?
Should I buy an extra Trout now for 275K and hope he rises to like 350k then sell for profit?
Hate to burst your bubble, prices right now are about as high as there going to be especially for cards like trout and yellich or even bellinger. Once the pricey legends start dropping the live series cards will start falling to more reasonable levels. I always wait to buy the love series diamonds until like July and august because the demand for them is non existent at they point as most people have benched the live series cards for end game legends at this point.
-
Yeah, definitely don’t “invest” now... Just keep your ear to the ground and buy big when a sale is announced before the market goes nuts.

Okay, I'll hold off for now. I feel like by the time I have enoigh to complete for Mantle, I could just buy Headliners or BOsses that are close to him, with none of the hassle of lokcing in hundreds of thousands of stubs........

Can you explain what you mean by this? What's a "coffer" ??
-
A coffer is an old church term for what you put your Sunday offering into.....its like your bank....

A coffer is the place where you keep money AKA wallet
-
A coffer is the thing Mr. Steinbrenner utilized to bring 7 championships back to Gotham by signing some pretty fantastic players.
It's a large box where you keep your money.

Everything. Inning and BR rewards soar. Desirable cards rise the highest

Left out Cole who probably made the biggest jump.
