If I make a CAP at Catcher and max him out; can I make another one at a different position; but keep the previous position player?

I know I'll probably have to edit my original; if I want to change the name; but if I do that will I keep that previous 0layer in the roster pool?

This won’t answer your question. But my catcher cap is my favorite player. I haven’t played ranked in awhile because there is so much other stuff that needs done with events and all the other content. I have Mantle and I miss using my Cap more than anyone.

I used Dwight Evans stance. Such a cool hitter as a switch hitting catcher.

No you can only have one CAP. You can max out every position and use any of your CAP's anywhere, but it is always the same player. if that makes sense. AKA you can max out Catcher CAP named Barry Bonds, and then start the 2B CAP missions will still be with Barry Bonds but starting at 65 Overall on his 2B tree.

So once you max out 2B cap you can decide if you want to use 2B CAP Bonds or C CAP Bonds, but you can not use both. If you change his name to Mark McGwire, you will now have 2B CAP McGwire and C CAP McGwire

That's what I wanted to know.

So if I want to use a particular player, at their primary position; I would have to rename the player each time I swap out the position? Also I do such, will it ever corrupt the file?

Like if one game I want to place my CAP at SS and name him Derek Jeter. 5hen the next game I place him in the OF and change his name to Roberto Clemente?

You can max out all the CAP players and you'll have them all in your inventory, you can only use one at a time though. So if you wanna use a 88/99 catcher CAP one game and a 88/89 SS CAP the next game, you can.

Correct. If you max out both SS and RF and name him Derek Jeter, you can use DJ in Right or at short as 89s or even use him at C as a 65 OVR if you haven't leveld up C at all. You can rename him and change his appearance all you want and you will have the exact same positions leveled up. You dont level up different CAPs at different positions. YOu can't simultaneously have a jeter and a clemente

Just set his name to Jumbo D!ck and you’ll never need to change it again. Set it and forget it.

Mine too. 99 arm strength and accuracy and almost no one can steal on me. Throw in 117 power from both sides and yah, he's good. (Yes I invested in equipment.)

I have Bo Jackson as my CAP CF already. If I create a 3B with a new player profile will Bo change to the new CAP? Feel like the answer will be yes. just looking for vitrifaction before I do.
