Turns out I’ve been playing this game for over a month without my tv on game mode.
I hadn’t really played online at all this year and decided this was the perfect event to play with all these cards I earned in MTO. But, I was getting so frustrated because I couldn’t hit the ball. I was a decent player last year, especially in events. And, I was starting to think all the cpu play had broken me.
I decided to make sure my tv was set right, and what do you know. Now, all of a sudden I’m not late on every fastball. I’m not going 12-0 or anything, but now the event is actually fun.
I don’t know why it would have gotten turned off, and I’m sure no one here really cares. I just can’t believe it took me six weeks for figure out. The hardest part now is unlearning how to pitch. Because now it seems I’m always too early on my pitching.

Using a TV in general is not very bright, but I hear you. The difference once you make any kind of positive change requires an adjustment period!
