How is that Ricky Henderson or any good base stealer for that matter gets picked off second 90% of the time with a one step lead... it’s kinda ridiculous

Stop taking a lead and he’ll get picked off 0% of the time. Easy math

If my opponent gets on base with a 99 speed guy (or really anyone above 70) and decides to take an extra step, I will throw over or step off every single time.
You're playing another human being. Do you really expect to be given a free base?? Especially with a 99 speed card..
Then to come on a forum and be angry about being picked off.. unreal.
If you can't steal without the extra step, or be more sneaky about it, expect this result. -

And if you have a 90+ speed guy on, you don't need to take an extra lead over what the CPU gives you. You want the base, just go from there, and unless the catcher has an absolute cannon behind the plate, more often then not, you'll get the bag.

What drives me crazy is when someone with less than 60 speed and less than 30 stealing keeps taking an extra step and my pitcher can’t pick him off to save his life. I did this for about 10 minutes the other day and the guy had the nerve to send me a message about it like I was in the wrong. Keep taking that extra step, I’ll throw over until your out. It’s that simple.
