And really, this applies to CPU pitching in general but is especially egregious in boss battles, and that is the ability of the CPU to paint the black (and get every call) at will. My last boss battle (which I won) was a great example. I had Hader at 0 energy and virtually zero confidence with 13 outs to go and a guy with 54 bb/9 and 63 control threw roughly 75% of his remaining strikes on the black. CPU pitching needs to be more realistic based on their attributes, but I guess this is what we will get from a company that makes every CPU fielder a diamond.

If they don't make it frustrating, you'll be happy with what you have and not buy stubs. It's science.

Showdown final bosses evolved from that Matt guy in Wii Sports Baseball. God I hated that guy.

I hear you but if you swing at hitable pitches and take balls and good strikes you shouldn’t have a problem beating any of the bosses. You have to be willing to strike out looking on a pitchers pitch.

The system is set up to give the user enough hitable pitches to come back from 0-15, so failure is 100% user failure.

Exactly. If you are patient at the plate you will see enough notable pitches💯

They just need to tone down fielder reaction pretty dramatically. I’m fine with having to be extremely selective. But when you’re selective, working counts, making good contact and continually get robbed by common rated fielders. It’s just a little silly.

You could have an entire “WebGems” segment just from one boss battle.

Bro, that guy threw a 99 mph fastball with like a 60 mph splitter.
