HR REPLAY
-
Games already take like 45 minutes replaying home runs makes it take longer. I enjoy that they added it but I only use it for absolute moon shots
-
I've only used it a handful of times. The most gratifying was the guy who hit two bombs against me early and did it, then proceeded to use a lot of stalling tactics throughout the game. I hit a go ahead homer in the top of the 9th and of course I replayed it. He pegged me then quit. That's always a fun time.
I think it's a pretty cool feature, but I don't think it's necessary to use on every home run...just those when you really wanna frazzle your opponent.

How much time does it add?
-
Agreed.
Also what's the point of Ryan Feierabend being in the game if you are not going to use him?

You’re sick.
-
rather watch those than see opponent checkswing 40 times a game omfg
-
I don’t mind it. To be honest the only time it’s irritating is when a guy is already beating me by 6 or 7 runs in the 2nd inning and still replaying solo bombs. I get it, I suck dude. Can we just move on with the game
-
Sounds like someone won a game? Dont worry, you will experience all the ups and downs of it.
-
I was playing a guy in an event game with a uniform that made me just want to beat the snot out of him. I was down 2-1 with a runner on 1st and Carlos Slamtana up...I wanted to crush one so bad just to replay. Ended up slightly under a high FB and it was a lazy fly to right. Later in the game, still down 2-1, I had the bases loaded with an even deeper desire to mash that replay button. Ended up hitting like 4 doubles in a row. I won like 7-2, but I didn't have the chance to rub it in his face.
Would've made it even sweeter since he tried and failed to take advantages of exploits every chance he got,
What I'm trying to say is...Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it
-
It becomes a whole lot less fun when the other guy takes the lead and replays every single homer, even if you don't see it that way 90% of players use it as a bat flip / the equivalent of teabagging in smash
-
If you replay a HR against me I'm going to sit up in my chair and go full try hard and replay every HR I hit.
Prime example: facing a guy with 99 Kluber in BR. He hits first and smashes a HR, replays it. He probably feels pretty good with Kluber, but it's on all-star buddy. I started off the game with 4 straight HR's and replayed them all.
-
I do it all the time in BR though, just because I hope it'll push my opponent towards an early quit which will preserve my pitching staff's stamina.

It's at that point I will hand the controller to my 10 year old son and tell him to make the game last as long as humanly possible.

Played a guy yesterday, i was up 4-0 after 3 and had hit two HR didn't do any replays... He goes back and ties the game 4-4 on 3 HR, he replayed each one and watched the duration... Okay game on... Then he bunt dances... Big mistake bud.
Reggie Jackson comes up in the 6th and mashes his 2nd HR of the game a mammoth 469ft shot to go up 5-4 and L2 that MONSTER F-U bat flip.
Then in the 8th, runner on 3rd, Reggie up intentional walk to get to Pete Alonso. Alonso mashes a 3 run bomb to go up 8-4... L2 that! Heart breaking bomb just broke his spirit could feel it.
In the top 9, we get 4 more runs... Ty Cobb smokes a 2 run no doubter, better L2 that!!.. Won 12-4, scored 7 total in the 8th and 9th.
Pretty sure my opponent was making his way to the rickety stool and rope store after that.
