That's not how directional works. If he fouled off a million pitches and had mediocre contact, he's using directional.

He had bad discipline and wasn't moving his PCI, or was tunneling a specific location with his PCI.

If he's fouling everything on the edges of the zone he's probably using directional.

Why did you keep throwing pitches in the same location if he hit 14 homeruns there?

This was my takeaway as well. How did you not notice this the first 13 times it happened.

If he hit Hr’s on pitches on the corners or out of the zone he is not using directional

The only event game I played I scored 14 runs on 19 hits, would you think I'm using directional because of that?

The only time you would ever use directional is if you had a hard time hitting the knuckleballer.

I wouldn't say directional is 'trash"...I would say it directional gives you more strategic opportunities...hitting to opposite field...going with the pitch...it had its positives and is the more realistic hitting choice. Zone you can get to any pitch...its more satisfying when squaring up. Both has its benefits...calling something trash because you may not use it is silly.

I use directional against cpu via remote play on my phone so I can get offline stuff done while away from console. But i use zone otherwise. I did play a couple event games though on my phone or ipad and have won a few oddly enough. But i dont think there is really a way to tell what they are using. Just assumptions.

HUH? You can go to the opposite field with zone hitting the same as directional. I do it a lot. With zone hitting I can square a pitch up and take it the other way

    1. I want a realistic gaming experience with realistic hit outcomes.
    2. I want to use a view from the level of my groin and snipe pitches like COD.
    3. Cards should have realistic attributes.

One of these things is not like the others!

IF DIRECTIONAL WAS SOME SORT OF CHEAT CODE, EVERYONE WOULD USE IT.

Has no one ever used directional? It does not help you hit.
